FAQ's

HOW DOES CONSIGNMENT WORK?

Currently, our consignment pool is invite-only. We are very selective about quality, authenticity, and cleanliness. If you think you've got great gems, feel free to contact us at admin@cremedelacloset.com, and attach up to 10 photos of what you're ready to consign. Not all items accepted are guaranteed to sell. Accepted items will be cosigned for 60 days starting from the day they're received, with shipping to us paid by us. CRÈME takes 40% of each sale, the consignor receives 60%. When an item is sold, the consignor will be paid out on the 15th of the following month via the app, Zelle.

For very special exceptions, consignors in Los Angeles may organize a pick-up and international arrangements can be made. High-end handbags and jewelry are authenticated by a third party. All items found to be fake will be immediately destroyed on-site for security purposes, and a lifetime ban will be assigned to the consignor, no exceptions.

RETURN POLICY:

All sales are final. No exchanges, refunds, or returns. While we do stock for quality, keep in mind that most of the items we curate are vintage or pre-owned, meaning they may be gently worn unless specified otherwise. Our photos accurately represent the quality of each piece and our listings will grade the quality of every item to the best of our observation. Please thoroughly review images and measurements.

SHIPPING:

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MAILING ADDRESS. A change to your mailing label is impossible to edit after a transaction is submitted.

Packages are shipped out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, before noon, Pacific Standard Time. Express or rush shipping options are available for additional purchase, please contact admin@cremedelacloset.com before your purchase.

Every item purchased will be shipped with USPS unless otherwise noted. Once the package is out of our hands, the buyer is fully responsible for receiving the purchase. This means CRÈME is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen parcels. The buyer will have to contact the third-party delivery service for tracking and/or insurance claims.

RETURNED PACKAGES:

Parcels that cannot be delivered to the buyer and are returned to CRÈME will require the buyer to be responsible to pay to have the item re-shipped.

Buyers who will be out-of-town for their delivery MUST send an immediate notice to our above email address to have their package shipped out at a later date. An unresponsive or uncooperative buyer will result in the forfeit of their purchased item(s) without a refund.
